Adult Care Workers

Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adult patients with their care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible.

They provide assistance with illness, disability or age-related issues. Adult Care Workers will face a wide range of scenarios in their role, including general wellbeing, health and safety, mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse, dementia care, safeguarding and risk management.

Adult Care Workers can be found in care homes, hospitals, out in the community or visiting people at their hole. They excel at communication and delivering compassionate, patient-first care.

Our apprenticeships are built to educate, inspire and develop either new or existing Adult Care Workers into their roles. Below you can find out more about how we do this, and the different apprenticeships available to Adult Care Workers.

Explaining Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a real job, which includes training as part of the employee’s duties. Apprentices earn whilst they learn, gaining valuable skills and knowledge through both their job role and the training provided. Upon successful completion, the apprentice will not only have gained hands-on experience in their job role, but they will also receive a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprentices are allocated a designated skills & development coach who will support and guide them for the duration of their apprenticeship. The apprenticeship is delivered using both online and face to face delivery methods.
