Everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and supported. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, including ours and yours.

What Safeguarding Means

Safeguarding means protecting you and others from harm, including:

  • Bullying, abuse or harassment (in person or online)
  • Feeling unsafe at home, at work or online
  • County lines, grooming, online risks and other safeguarding concerns
  • Radicalisation or extremism (Prevent)
  • Neglect or discrimination
  • Anything that makes you feel worried or uncomfortable

Every report is treated seriously and confidentially, you’ll always be listened to and supported.

Your Safeguarding Learning

We share clear, practical information on staying safe, who to contact, and how to report concerns. For apprentices: At the start of your programme, you complete a short Safeguarding Journey covering topics such as staying safe online, understanding the Prevent Duty, recognising county lines and grooming risks, knowing our safeguarding and Prevent policies, and what to do if you or someone else is at risk. Your reflections and activities can count towards your off‑the‑job training hours.

Ongoing Support

Your tutor or coach regularly checks how safe and supported you feel.
Monthly updates: We post Safeguarding Updates (national alerts, online safety, Prevent news, reflection tasks) on your learner systems.
Short activities and reflections may count towards learning time where applicable.

Reporting A Concern

Anyone can report a safeguarding concern: learners, employers, parents/guardians, partners and members of the public. If we believe someone is at risk of harm, we will act quickly and work with the right services. We keep your information private and only share what is necessary to keep people safe.

Our Safeguarding Team

We have a dedicated team of Designated Safeguarding Officers who are trained to respond to concerns sensitively and promptly.
