Embark on a comprehensive learning journey focusing on the paramount importance of safeguarding children and young people in an adult care environment. This programme delves into individual responsibilities, enhancing understanding among peers, and addressing conflicts and dilemmas related to safeguarding in adult care settings.


Programme Outcomes
Upon successful completion, learners will:

  • Grasp the critical responsibility of safeguarding children and young people in an adult social care work setting.
  • Have the skills to enhance the understanding of others concerning safeguarding children and young people in an adult care setting.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and dilemmas associated with safeguarding children and young people in this context.

Accreditation
Learners will achieve an Accredited Award in "Safeguard Children and Young People Who are Present in a Care Setting."


Target Audience
This programme is ideally suited for existing staff in health or health and social care settings.


Pre-requisites
Prospective learners should be working or volunteering in the health and social care sector.


Programme Structure & Duration:

  • Duration: 10 weeks.
  • Induction: One 2-hour session.
  • Coaching Sessions: Two 2-hour sessions.
  • Assignments: Post-coaching, learners will need to submit assignments and workbooks based on their learnings.
  • Delivery Mode: This programme is conducted Online via MS Teams of Zoom
