Upcoming SEND Webinars For Local Authorities
Accessible Apprenticeships
Dynamic Training are proud to share our upcoming series of webinars, hosted by The Education and Training Foundation and Dynamic Training.
These workshops are designed for local authority staff, and other employers interested in understanding accessible apprenticeships and the implementation of these within your organisation. They are suitable for individuals at all career stages, particularly those with limited prior knowledge of accessible apprenticeships or seeking to enhance their understanding of inclusive pathways.
There are four SEND Webinars in total, each one exploring the different and varied aspects of accessible apprenticeships and inclusive practices. You can book onto these webinars from the links below.
Accessible Apprenticeships: Overview and Benefits for Employers and Learners
Fri, Sep 26th 2025 12:00pm
In this Dynamic Training-run session, participants will explore what makes an apprenticeship “accessible” and the value this brings to both employers and learners. The workshop sets the scene by examining preventative approaches, such as early careers strategies, work experience models, and the SEND framework, highlighting the importance of starting the journey early.
The session will also outline the roles of Local Authorities, key players in the process, and the pathways to employment, including the impact of Supported Internships and Supported Employment. Attendees will learn about reasonable adjustments, associated costs, and the economic benefits of accessible apprenticeships, supported by real-life case studies.
Building Local Networks: Mapping Opportunities and Stakeholders in Accessible Apprenticeships
Fri, Oct 24th 2025 12:00pm
In this Dynamic Training-facilitated session, attendees will map out the opportunities and stakeholders involved in apprenticeships within their local area. The workshop focuses on understanding the current apprenticeship landscape, establishing collaborative approaches with education providers, and aligning apprenticeships with other employment pathways.
Participants will also learn about available funding, the role of training provider networks, and the importance of SEND schools and colleges. The session covers upskilling through CEIG, the support offered by Supported Internships and Supported Employment, and the relevance of local labour market information. Case studies will illustrate best practice and new guidance effective from August 2024 will be discussed.

Attendees will also learn how to anticipate and overcome potential challenges, drawing on real-world case studies and examples of inclusive recruitment strategies.
