From the 13th of May to the 17th of May, employers will be celebrating Learning At Work Week. This week is a vital time for workplaces to explore opportunities to expand and enhance education within the working environment.

Dynamic Training are gearing up with a plethora of activities over the week to showcase the variety of programmes and options available to employers and workplace staff alike. We are keen to hear from you if you would like to work in partnership to promote any of our programmes and make an impact during this week.

Below is a breakdown of what is Learning At Work Week, and what we already have planned over this exciting event. We would love to hear from you and find out more about what you also have planned.

What Is Learning At Work Week?

Learning at Work Week (LAW Week) is an annual week of celebrating the development of learning cultures at work. This week puts a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development of staff in the workplace. During this week, employers are encouraged to take part in activities which encourage learning, development and growth.

This Year’s Theme: Learning Power

The theme for Learning At Work Week 2024 is Learning Power. The theme aims to explore how lifelong and continual learning gives us power to change, grow and achieve our individual, team and organisational goals.

  • The Power To Grow: Learning has the power to create positive change in our lives through understanding, knowledge and skills. It allows us all to see the world in a different way, and approach our lives and careers from new perspectives.

  • The Power To Connect: Learning together helps to foster and develop relationships, innovation, new perspectives and different ways of working. It can help to bring teams together, consider each other’s values and perspectives, and improve the way we all work as a collective.

  • The Power To Engage: Learning helps us to engage in future with challenge, change and future developments, helping us to respond and be resilient. This helps us to promote positive responses, look past anxieties and build confidence.

You can shape and interpret the Learning Power Theme in whatever way suits your own workplace, and use it to reflect on your own goals and needs.
