Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Training Manager to join our team at Dynamic Training to cover as a minimum, a 9-month maternity cover. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our training services while contributing to the overall growth of the business. As a Training Manager, you will oversee the delivery of training programmes, manage client accounts, and ensure the satisfaction of our stakeholders. You will also work closely with our Lead Trainers to continuously enhance the quality of our training services.

The Training Manager is a critical role and includes overseeing the provision of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme, ensuring a quality-driven approach, and working in partnership with our marketing team to achieve excellence and growth. The Training Manager will also be responsible for financial reporting, incoming business development enquiries, and the implementation of tenders, ensuring smooth transitions from tender to delivery. This position involves the line management of a Training Coordinator and the coordination of all aspects of programme delivery, including scheduling and reporting.


Job Purpose

As a Skills & Development Coach in the field of Science at Dynamic Training, your primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive training, assess candidates' progress, and verify their achievements in employer-responsive programmes across diverse healthcare science settings. Your role is instrumental in enabling candidates to successfully attain their qualifications and Apprenticeship programme.

Through collaboration with curriculum staff and employers, you will work together to create and maintain Individual Learning Plans, ensuring learners make effective progress. Your role involves delivering top-notch training to ensure qualifications are completed on time, facilitating portfolio development, and integrating Functional Skills into the curriculum. You will act as an advocate for learners and employers resolving any issues and keeping stakeholders informed of learner progress.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery and Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee and manage the effective delivery of training programmes, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Work in partnership with the Lead Trainers to assess and improve the quality of training content and delivery methods.
  • Monitor feedback from trainers/customers and clients to identify areas for improvement, feeding insights into the Lead Trainer to help refine training approaches.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of training courses and manage any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Monitor trainer performance, report any concerns to line managers/lead trainers and provide ongoing support and feedback.

Client Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring that their training needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take ownership of client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and managing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular reviews and follow-up with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand business within current accounts.

Managing Training Coordinator:

  • Lead and mentor the Training Coordinator, ensuring they are well-equipped to support day-to-day training operations.
  • Provide guidance on scheduling, resource management, and logistics for all training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to ensure effective accessible communication and coordination with trainers and clients.

Securing New Accounts and Business Development:

  • Lead efforts to secure new clients and accounts by ensuring sales leads are engaged in a timely manner and working with the Business Development department to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Build a strong network of contacts, actively engaging, through the marketing department in outreach to attract new business and expand Dynamic Training’s footprint.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business growth, including, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Work with the Head of Apprenticeships and Commercial to review the viability of large contractual tender opportunities.
  • Ensure the smooth transition from tender to implementation, including planning, scheduling, and booking of delivery venues and dates.

Support Delivery Resources Against Need

  • Work closely with the HR Director to safely recruit qualified trainers, ensuring all recruitment follows Dynamic Training’s established processes and complies with legal and organisational standards.
  • Participate in interviews, onboarding, and induction processes for new trainers, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-quality training.

Performance and Reporting:

  • Track and report on training metrics, client satisfaction levels, and business growth objectives.
  • Regularly report on the success of training programmes, account management, and business development efforts to senior leadership.
  • Use data and feedback to drive improvements in training processes and service delivery.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, training methodologies, and emerging technologies.
  • Suggest and implement innovations to enhance the training experience, client satisfaction, and business operations.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all organisational policies, including those related to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health and safety.

  • Act on safeguarding concerns in line with organisational policies and procedures.
