Mental capacity workshop

All social care providers and their employees need to comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) and the associated codes of practice. The act and codes set out the guidance and principles for supporting people to make their own decisions.
This workshop provides an introduction to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) and the deprivations of liberty safeguards (DoLS) for front line staff working in a health and social care setting.
